Measure your dog around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and along the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Then check the size guide of the jacket you like: each jacket has its own chart.

Go for the bigger size. A jacket that’s a little loose is more comfortable than one that’s tight across the chest.

Sizes go from S to 5XL (S to 3XL for the Winter Jacket), from small dogs to large ones. Size by chest first. Long-backed dogs, like Dachshunds, should check the back length too.

Not always. On each product page, sizes that are sold out in that colour are crossed out.

For cold, dry days, the Puffer Jacket is padded and warm. For rain, the Waterproof Jacket is light and hooded. For the coldest walks, the Winter Jacket has a soft plush lining.

The Waterproof Jacket has a waterproof polyester shell and a hood. The Puffer Jacket and the Winter Jacket are padded jackets made for the cold.

Not every dog does. Small dogs, short-coated breeds like French bulldogs, lean dogs, puppies and older dogs lose heat faster. Around 45°F (7°C) is a sensible point to start layering up. Read more.
